I guess this is kinda or a poll, but if you had to choose between these two rods which would it be:

1. Denali Rosewood Series

2. Dobyns Savvy Series

Bottom baits denali hands down. Anything else it would be just a preference.

Dobyn's, but preference usually wins.

I keep hearing great things about Denali, would like to try one.

Never owned a Denali, but I was very unimpressed with the Dobyns Savvy. The only things going for it is it's balance and it looks cool. Thats about it. I thought it felt kinda dead, and not very crisp.

I know its not on your "poll", but take a good look at Powell Rods. They're cheaper than a Dobyns and MUCH better, IMO they are the best rods out for under $200. Check out the review I wrote on them here by using the search feature or google it.

Of those two, I'll throw rocks. Don't like either rod mentioned. Both are heavy and just don't balance well. IMO the Veritas is a better feeling rod than both the rods in question.

I haven't fished the Dobyns but I fish Denali Rosewoods and couldn't be happier with them. I have them paired with Revo Premiers and it makes for an extremely light combo.

Thats what i decided to go with, i just have to move my current equipment. i will be pairing up the denali's with 2 revo stx's, 1 revo premier and 2 chronarch's
