I was reading the Berkley nanofil thread and a couple people mentioned I had better feel on slack line. Everyone also mentioned that it broke and frayed very easily so I won't be trying it.

I thought nanofil and 832 had a similar concept so I was wondering if 832 also has better slack line feel than ordinary braid. I haven't heard much about 832 breaking problems but maybe you guys could enlighten me on that as well.

all i useis 832. is good stuff. great feel and sensitivity. neverhave broken a line or knot.

No, I have not found 832 to have better "slack line feel" than other braids.  In fact, I think the slippery gore fiber that is woven into the 832 braid encourages the line to loosen up some with use and lessen the slack line feel.  I have not had the breaking problems with NanoFil that others have written about.

I have only used 50lb 832 on my frog rod and the same line has been on the reel going into its third year with no problems.

Dodgeguy recommended Sufix 832, so I tried it and like it!

I use 832 as well. Great stuff, lasts a long time.

Regular Sufix is just as awesome

I have 20# 832 on a spinning rig.  No issues with fraying or break offs, but I do find you have to be very fastidious with connection knots.  I get a few more wind knots than I recall with similar size Power Pro, though the past season was windier than most.  Overall, I like the line.  I landed my biggest fish of last year on that rig, a 7-1 LMB.  It was a feisty, springtime fish that made three drag stripping runs before I got her in the net.
