Any Fishing This Easter???

Featured Replies

I did real good this easter with 4 nice bass in 30 mins with a Rage Space Monkey weightless. How did you guys do this easter, and how did you catch them??

I'm about ready to take a chainsaw and cut the ice off the water here so I can fish.. Your lucky haha.

Caught another little dink on a tube today. Had another one hit my jig as I was reeling it back in but it got off. Also had the wind catch one of my small spinners and take it right into a tree. Why is it when I lose a lure it's always one I just bought?

I was able to get out for the first time to fish up here in the north.  Caught 2 decent fish in very cold waters but at least I was fishing.  This was the biggest ... about 2-3 lbs.

Caught about 13 today at a small pond. Biggest one was about 5 or 6 pounds. Most were on a swim jig but a few bit a jig that was pitched toward them.

I caught 5 today out of a large pond. Only dinks were caught.

No fishing today due to a bit of rain, but I got 16 yesterday on a squarebill. Going tommorow again.

Nope, still locked up with ice, and will be for a little while yet.

Would like to have gone out, but no. Was overcast, rain, then overcast. Probably a good day to hit the reservoirs! C'est la vie.

Went out for a couple hours this morning before the rain.  Caught a little one on a Strike King Spinnerbait right before I was about to leave.  He hit it right at the bank just before I lifted it out of the water.

This ALWAYS happens.  If your going to lose a lure, rest assured that its probably going to be a brand new one.  I've actually started waiting a few trips before fishing new lures.

Went with my son on Saturday.  I did not get a darn thing, but I have just now started to teach him how to work a texas rig.  Which he was doing really well.  He is 4 mind you....put on a berkley power worm texas rigged.  He cast, hooked, and caught this behemoth. Measured out 27-28 inches.  I know it is not a bass, but man what a lot of fun.  I think I have a fishing buddy for life.  :respect-059:

Caught 4 yesterday, three on a jerkbait and one on the Deps 175 Slide Swimmer.

Water is still crazy cold here, just at 40 degrees.

Friday they were crushing the rattlesnake, 6 fish in an hour thirty 13-17" inches. Sat took my 3yr old and 6 yr old for some bluegills, not a lot of action but each one got a couple. Today they were crushing the pop-r, got 3 nice fish 17-19 inches missed two other strikes and I got one 13" on a rattlesnake in an hour and fifteen today. Great fishing the last couple days! Looks like the topwater bite is shaping up.

Fished saturday for a zero again didnt help 50 boats fished the lake before me, water temp was 46, two clubs had tournaments before I even hit the water. Lake is still WAY WAY down.

I mainly went to test electronics.
