Bass On ~50 Casts In A Row

Featured Replies

Check out this video of Tom Mann Jr schooling the schoolies on Okeechobee.

I actually ran into him today at Roland Martin's Tiki Bar.  He was having lunch with some clients and he remembered me, as my group used to sponsor him (and Bernie Schultz).  He showed me this video on his Iphone and I thought I'd share it with you all.

Yes, I know the spot.  No, I ain't telling!

Now that's a fun day on the lake,,..

What is that bait hes using?  That thing lasted way longer than anything I ever use. Looks like a pearl fluke, but it lasted forever

Probably safe to say he was not using a bait by the company on his shirt.

He said it was jig at the 6:14 mark. I like it when he said when you come to okeechobee bring your braid this is the type of fishing Im usually doing. I love fishing in the grass.

Missed one at 3:08 on the vid.

Looks to me like he might be fishing the back half of a Swimming Senko.

I have had geat luck with a similar set-up.

I hate being in North Florida. The fishing is terrible in Gainesville. They spray all the lakes and ponds and wreck everything.

About 9:15 in he confirmed it was in fact a swim jig :)

The same is done in most of south Florida's canal systems....
