1.6/0 Treble hook dipped in chartreuse dye to snag them with.

2. 5' casting net

3. Spear gun

4. Bow $ arrow

5. In a pinch I just try to hit them with one of the props at full speed

I like using a tube and a 5/0 hook.

a lot of people seem to like white but i usually just use the same color i would be fishing with if i were not bed fishing, which usually means a lot of green pumpkins.  they are slightly harder to see on the bed but i think i get more hits.  # 1 bed fishing bait is the fat ika

Yum Crawbug (hollow) and Zoom Big Critter Craw (solid)

Whatever color elicits the greatest confidence.

I like to use the Strike King bleeding tubes in white.  Why white?  Because it helps me see where my lure is on/around the bed.  I'm not convinced that color makes a huge difference in bed fishing because the bass see anything moving across their bed as an intruder.  That's just my opinion.

Now, as far as bed fishing, I don't have a problem with it as long as the bass are not already on the eggs and you can see the bluegill lined up around the bed just waiting for you to pull the fish off so they can attack the eggs.  While I can certainly appreciate people's differing opinions about bed fishing I don't think you have to go out of your way to bash those that don't agree with you.  When you do that you kinda start to sound a little PETAish.

this has to be the first fishing forum where that word P*TA isnt blocked by the language filters lol.

It's a vision thing for me with tubes and lizards, and floating worms.  I like 'em bright! This year I'm going to use more big plastics like fake big bluegills ans swimbait sized baits.  I hate it when I have to use the natural greens to get bit, but whatever it takes!

White tubes junbug lizards i usually die the tip of whatever plastic i use orange or chart not the whole bait.

Dont mention bed fishing on a certain smallie site youll be suprised its a bit petaish.
