Anyone fish the waters in lower Michigan?

I grew up fishing around the Flint, MI area quite extensively. From your general information, it looks like you live down near the Monroe area? I haven't fished that area, but feel free to ask me any questions or bounce thoughts off of me!

Afraid I haven't mcwiggles. I certainly wish you the best out there though! I actually am out in Colorado now, and let me tell you what, the bass rising is completely different from Michigans bass waters.

I'm in Chesterfield. DOnt own a boat though so most of my fishing is restricted to shore spots around st clair, stoney creek, and a few ponds. 

I need to check out Stoney sometime. I'm in need of new spots. I scoped out the Huron River near downtown Ann Arbor yesterday, but it doesn't look too bass-y.

Try further north of A2 at the Metro Parks. Nice bass in the river up there. Also between A2 and Ypsi is pretty good.

From Gladwin. Awesome smallie and largemouth fishing up by us.

I fish Oakland co. lakes.....

Used to fish the Huron R. at three Metro parks starting near the Zeeb Rd. exit. The DNR was stocking smallies in there and fishing was great for awhile until the locals cleaned them all out. Guess they could'nt read the signs that asked people to please return the smallmouth bass to the river until they become established. Now Im up in West Branch on Lake Ogemaw.

I'm just north of Muskegon, but grew up in the Lake Odessa area.

Burton, Davison area. 98% shore fishing, Mott, Holloway. Buell, the Mounds.

Clinton Township-drive over to Wolverine Lake in Commerce or Lake Orion. For long weekends travel north to Fletcher s Pond near Hillman (west of Alpena). 3 great bass lakes and get some nice pike also.

I fish a lot of lakes near the indiana michigan border but not a michigander thankfully. i have the driving skills to prove it. 

I live in Ohio, Toledo Area, however I find myself fishing Michigan waters more than Ohio waters. I personally enjoy Devils Lake, Round Lake, Wamplers, River Raisen, Evens Lake when in S.E Mich but I prefer to go up to Torch lake, Walloon Lake, and Lake Charlevoix.
