New Rage Saltwater Series Baits

Featured Replies

Here's the New Rage Tail Salt Water Series Shrimp and Crab Designs that debuted at ICAST last week  IMPORTANT: They're made from a new Elaztech Material and you MUST keep them separate from other standard polysol plastic baits like our other RT's are presently produced from. This material is extremely durable and High Floating as well. There will also be a re-sealable tube of our Saltwater Formula Scent included in the bag. I squeeze a small portion in an empty bag and massage a rigged baits in it prior to casting...it stays on the bait for a very long time and the fish LOVE IT  ;)

Each can be fished on jig heads, T rigged or C Rigged and on a variety of hook styles both weedless and open. When C rigged, they'll float up off the bottom regardless of your hook size.

As with many of our other products, you'll need to separate each of the small tear tabs prior to fishing.

BTW...Bass eat these too  :P

Hope Y'all like'em

Steve, what was the reasoning behind using Elaztech in these baits?

Are there any plans to make the "traditional" RT products using the Elaztech?

That crab looks like it may be a decent Permit bait. How heavy are these, Steve? I realize that they're Elaztech, but how durable are they really? Saltwater fish just absolutely trash plastic lures. Getting more than two fish out of one is usually a bonus.

I can't tell from the pics, are any of those shrimp glow with chartruese tail. That is an awesome color for reds and specks down here.

How long is that shrimp? The more I look at that, the more I think it would make a good jig trailer.

Oh boy, the sandies, and spottied bay bass are gonna Love those crabs.. :P

Wish I had some for bay bass tourney this Sunday..

The Shrimp is 4" long and yes they are extremely durable and will average more than two fish FOR SURE.

Glow with Chartreuse Tail is one of the shrimp colors selected on this first go-round. And the Elaztech was chosen for Saltwater application to get past the pinfish and others to the gamefish without being destroyed prior too.

The scent formula is a long lasting gel and the real deal  :P

Sounds good, Steve.  How are they priced?  Around the same as the rest of the Rage lineup?  I'm looking forward to getting a hold of some of these to use on the flats.

Big O,

If you keep creating products I am going to go broke!!!!...lol..

Go live crabs for Permit.  Soft baits are killers in saltwater, no reason for these not work.  I use plastics for snook, tarpon , redfish, triple tail and trout.  I've had bluefish and jacks bite hard baits in half.

I can tell Y'all first hand the Speckle Trout, Redfish, & Flounder love the Glow Chartreuse Shrimp...pictures coming soon!
