Hoping to have a little fun with the group here ... 

 

I came across this small DeWalt box and immediately thought it would make a good case for when I travel.  I would throw it into my checked baggage and it won't crack like some of the other plastic cases have in the past.

 

On the left is a small frog, Inline Spinner, 1/4oz Lipless Cranks, and KVD 1.0 Squarebills

 

On the right is 3/0 straight shank hooks, shakey heads, drop shot weight, drop shot hooks, wacky hooks, finesse jigs, and weights for T-Rig and Split Shot.

 

I travel with a 6'6" MH F Spinning setup with braid.  I also carry a small spool of 8lb FC line for a leader.  When I travel I generally end up bank fishing so keep that in mind with your choices.

 

 

As you can see there is some space for more.  What else would you put in here?

 

Just because I like using them, but maybe a jerkbait?

maybe some short of topwater bait besides the frog... id say a spook if you dont fish spooks a jerk bait

Great suggestions ... I like the Zara Spook and Popper idea.  I had to add my mojo rig stuff in there.  Keep the ideas coming.

What style are the finesse jigs? If they have round heads, I'd throw in some brush jigs. I have a small tackle box too for when I go to a local pond.

Have 2 styles ... one is a finesse barrell jig (look like tiny barrels as opposed to footballs) and the other is a grass jig which serves as a swim jig, grass jig and I can throw them into brush with little issues.

Where are your senkos? I wouldnt go anywhere without a stick bait. Other than that looks great!

Very nice. As long as the tackle suits your needs, then you should be good to go!

I like how you're going incognito with the DeWalt box. I have a similar kit, and it contains...

 

-Jigheads (assorted size/colors and slider heads)

-Grubs (lots)

-DS weights and hooks size 4,2, and 1

-Finesse worms, ds worms, gulp minnows

-A popper

-A walker/pencil bait

-A shad rap

-A couple of tiny buzzbaits

Never leave home with out a top water lure.

Correction - never bank fish without the following two lures....

 

1. Beetle Spin

2. White Rooster Tail silver blade

 

If you have the room.....

 

3. a couple small slip bobbers

4. bobber stops

5. baithooks

6. freeze dried baits like worms, grubs and crickets (the ones Roland Martin has been pushing or something like it)

7. Fishbites (normally a saltwater bait but it works in freshwater)

I have a small bag where I throw this, pliers, scissors and my plastics.  The senko is one I won't leave home without.  

Take some berkley havoc rocket craws and some zoom trick worms along with your senkos
