is that a replica or skin mount?

I believe it is just a cover that goes over a existing mailbox, its just a plastic shell, much to big for a replica or mount. It looks much bigger in person, I could probably fit my whole head it the mouth! lol

A friend of mine used to have one similar to that but it kept getting stolen.

Problem is that after a few years the paint wears off.

 

I tried to get one from Christmas a few years ago but was shot down by wife.

Kinda glad I don't have one of those on my route.   lol   I do deliver to a cow mailbox, with its rear end facing the road.  You pull on its tail to open the door.      Someday I'll take a picture of it.

X's 2 on this.  Theres a couple I drive by a few times a week and almost all the paint is gone.  I've also seen ones that are shaped like lures such as poppers.

I too was pondering that question. Obviously, the artist took some creative liberties what with the red flag and the large stick protruding from the gills and anal vent.

 

In my professional opinion.....replica.

Every one of them I've ever seen was missing most of the paint on them. Pretty pricey for a mailbox too, but would still be a cool to have.

I've been the president of my HOA for 4 years now, and I hate HOAs! If you cant beat them, join them.
