Any reviews on this reel? Tw is selling these things for pretty cheap and wanted to know how they perform compared to a stradic ci4+ and sustain.

certate is a GREAT reel and for that price even better..

super smooth and durable..I had some of the older ones and man they were nice reels..

I just hate spinning so they went along with my Exist steez custom..

A great reel, at a great price. So good, I just ordered one.

The Certate is a very good reel. I was especially impressed with the sturdiness yet light weight of the bail.

Man, now I want one...

Don't own one personally but I've used a couple and they are awesome reels and built like a tank...but light as anything else on the market.

I'd like to give the 1003 a shot but I've spent way too much money on other JDM goodies.... And my sustain works great, but at this price the certate is very appealing.

I have a 2000, 2500, discontinued 1506 custom & the new jdm 2013 model. Never had a problem with any of them. The bails are bulletproof. Drags are very smooth . No binding or difficult winding. Very smooth. Built like tanks. I would highly recommend them. I have a stradic C14 and it is not in the same class but it is a less expensive reel so not a fair comparison. 

I just ordered a certate 2506. Can't wait to try it out!

I´m mainly a Shimano fan and I will say it again, when it comes to spinning reels I prefer Daiwa spinning reels, they are a lot more refined than the comparable Shimano. The Certate is a better reel than a Stradic ( the equivalent of the Cerate in Shimano is the Sustain );  for that price it´s a no brainer deal

The one zi ordered just came in. Wow, what a smooth reel. I have a trout trip starting Sunday. I've spooled the new reel up with #4 Abrazx, and mounted it on a Steez 7' ML rod. I'll post a review when we get back.
