Wahts your biggest bass of this year? And do you plan to do better in 2014?

<----------------------7lbs 1 oz. Do I "plan" on doing better in 2014? Sure, why not, but a 7+ lber from WNY is not an every day fish.

My biggest catch of the year (you didn't say bass).

Won me 280 bucks for biggest of trip. Pretty proud of myself that it only took me an 8-10 minute fight. Most guy's were going around the boat a couple times on smaller grade of fish.

7 lbers are pretty rare anywhere in New England  or the North East

Best for 2013 was a 6.5 on a drop shot.

I hope to better that in 2014 but in my area it'll be tough. I've seen one 8lb fish from around here.

I set three new PB this year.

A 14 in. -1.5 lb. Perch (caught while fishing for Smallmouth)

A 7 lb. Smallmouth

A 53.5 inch Musky

I am going to be honest.  I don't anticipating beating any of these PB for the rest of the life let alone in the next year (except for maybe the Perch, which was caught by total accident anyway)

That is a beautiful smallmouth but that musky takes the cake as the fish of a lifetime!  I would like to hear the story about that one.

Got my 1st 5lbr of my short bass fishing career. Hope to add a lb to that mark this year.
