Need Help With Spinner Bait Replacement Skirts

Featured Replies

I just started bass fishing a couple years ago and acquired 8 spinner and buzz baits from a friend but most of the skirts need to be replaced. My question is what is the basic type and colors I should start with. The river and lake I fish is more on the stained side then clear side. Any advice would be appreciated

Richard.

You can never go wrong with white and chart. it's the crescent wrench of spinnerbait colors. Clear water, stained water, deep, shallow, ...........it just works.

Thanks for the input. I'm sure I will have more questions in the future it's nice to have a place you can go to for answers. I have been reading articles and watching videos from this site for awhile and it is very informative. it seems when you ask someone on the water you would thank you were asking for something that's TOP SECRETE..

Check out Barlows Tackle for spinnerbait skirts, lots of good choices in various shad and bluegill colors.
