Is it just me or is the Bass Trakk useless this year?  I was paying attention to Gary Klein yesterday and it showed him most of the day with 4 or 5 fish in the lievwell...weighed in 1.  then today I see they show he and several others without a limit yet having culled keeper sized fish.

Bass Trakk is based off what the marshals report in.  Sometimes they can't be reached by cellphone or whatever communication they use. So it only gets updated as the folks in the War room receive info. Everything is tentative, and nothing is confirmed numbers.  It's still better than sitting here thinking about who has caught what. Over all, it's pretty darn close every Elite tournament I've watched via bassmaster.com.

 

The actual boat positioning wont be broadcasted until the final day of the tournament by the anglers request this year.  That I understand completely.

Basstrack caused a big problem last year with boat traffic.  80-100 boats on some of the big name anglers everyday.  People knew exactly the area they were and although people weren't to intrusive, there was tons of boat traffic that could have IMO hampered the bite.  Grand can be a tough lake to fish.

Also,  I just watched EE catch a nice fish on the war room TV.  He was using a bladed jig or "chatterbait" style jig.  Just a useful little tidbit for all the guys on here that asked about this bait.  How and when to use it!

Yes sir.  I'd be slow rolling a spinnerbait at best.  Or slow roll a hard head.

With all the grass it would be stupid to not fish a chatterbait. Awesome baits and simply catch fish. Ignore the orginal zman they break. Go with the D&m version.

Honestly there are a bunch of anglers deserving to be in an MLF event.  It is only set up with a 24 angler field.  Hopefully in the near future we'll see more than we have.  I know the MLF this year will have an all new field.

Yeah he did! That was classic G Man at the Classic! I'm an even bigger fan fan of his now too. I really like the emphasis he put on being a great winner AND a gracious loser.
