Just a heads up guys.  Don't know if this is just my store or just my region or what but I just got some stupid deals at WalMart the other night.  Picked up a 7ft MH Vendetta for the wife for $20 and picked up a 6'10'' Heavy Falcon Bucoo Micro Guide casting rod for myself for $25.  Total savings of approx. $150-$160!  I wasn't even planning on buying fishing rods but with prices like that, I figured they wouldn't last long so I jumped at the chance while I still had it.  There was a whole bin of rods with sale prices like this.  All kinds of brands, models, lengths, actions, and powers.  There was also a box full of Bomber, Heddon, and Arbogast lures for like $2.50!  It's definitely worth a look on your next trip to WalMart.

Same here, and the Vendetta's were "only" down to $65, and they are not flying out the door. I'll wait till they lower them some more.

I picked some rage craw for 2.50 a pack, and zoom flukes for 2.00. Powerpro was on sale for 9.99, and I don't even need it.

I found 2 castaways and 1 shock for 13$ each

I have like 8 walmarts within 20 minutes, better fill up my tank.

Guess I should go to my nearest walmarts. I'm in the market for my first baitcaster.

It's hit or miss. Living in Miami it seems that the racks are always half empty. Walmart gets a lot of fishing pressure lol.

I scanned the vendettas at the a-town wally and they are $64. You can forget our local one since the manager doesn't know what a clearance price is

the handfull of rods they have in the non-ugly stick division are still regular price.

I went to two different walmarts with different results. One only had a few things red tagged. The other had everything red tagged. Senkos were $5. Rapalas and Rebels were $1.50-2.00 off. Didn't get anything but I may go back for a closer look. Todd

I hate walmart but I drug myself in there twice.  No great sales on anything which further fueled my hate for them LOL.  

Nothing good at mine, most were $10-$15 off. Buccos were only marked down to $99. Now I'm a little mad I had to go into a wal-mart, I saw things that can't be unseen...

The only deals I have found at Wallyworld was online. Bought a vendetta last year for $29 on line. Just scored some climbing sticks and hang on stands for $29 each shipped

Checked mine today. Nothing special, but I needed some things so I went ahead and bought some of the sale items. Xcalibur CB's were $5, Trokar 6 pack EWG hooks were $5 a pack. Strike King pro tungsten weights were $4 a 3 pack. No real steals, but oh well better than full price I guess.
