First Bass Of The Year. Weight?

Featured Replies

Ran across the street and caught this guy. Taking advantage of the nice weather to do the shore fishing for a couple minutes. Didn't bring my tackle bag. It fell between three and 3.5 pounds any guesses

Caught it on a swim jig w a clawless rage craw lol..

Nice catch where do you live where your weather sucks? I would say with that pic 3+ closer to 4

Haha. I rinsed it off and had some random dudes take some better pics but the file size was to large. I could've hit 4lb. If I had some hydrilla to cover it in

Nice catch !

A solid 3 to 3.5. Great looking fish.

2 1/2 lbs

I catch plenty of bass in that range that feel like they are over 3lbs but when I weigh them they end up being around 2.4 to 2.11lbs.

3.5lbs give or take 1.5lbs on either side

But in all seriousness Id put it close to 3.5

I wish I could go bass fishing.  Most lakes still have 12+" of ice.  probably early April at best.
