Do You Have A Favorite Fishing Hat?

Featured Replies

I had a small head for a long time. My head finally hit puberty some time between 18 and my early 20s.

Yes, I have a favorite fishing hat.

It has a piece of cloth at the back that covers my neck.

You must be Bill Dance?

Naah. He didn't give it the ole Bill Dance fold and crease job.

too ashamed  to show my hat, pretty rough condition. its my favorite "everything" hat, wear it every day. Only reason for not buying a new one is no one within a 500 mile radius of my house sells a hat to fit my fat head and bass pro discontinued the one i wear a few years back. i still check ebay on a regular basis haha.

Yup...pushing size eight.  When ever in a store always looking.  Still waiting to find that treasure.

Not sure I could call it a favorite, but I'm going for some sort of record with a Rage Tail hat.

It's blown off my head, and into every body of water I ever fished when wearing it. The count is at 17, I think. If it hits 50, I'm gonna cremate it, and scatter the ashes in my favorite pit at Trophy Country.

My free panther Martin hat. Wear it on every trip.

I'd like to suggest a Coontail hat or perhaps something from the Milfoil or Cabbage Weed Line.

That way when it goes into the lake you'll actually be improving the fishing . . . .

I always feel like a dufus wearing it but it helps keep the melanoma down to a minimum.

Plus, it seems to bring me a bit of good luck now & then.

andy, who makes that guide hat, I like the looks of it...... I have a Columbia one and I don't like it much.

the bill on mine is not wide enough and the neck drape is a thin veil material.
