Don't really have a lucky hat but i do have a lucky pair of fishing boxers

I most certainly do have a favorite fishing hat. In fact, it is the only hat I will wear while fishing. It is a St. Croix hat I got when I was probably 16? years old? I have had it for a loooong time.... most of the embroidery on it used to be a dark, rich navy blue color but now it has faded to a pale, sun-bleached purple color from years and years of sun exposure.

 

Edit: I have been searching for pictures for quite a long time (I got distracted and nostalgic looking at all these old pictures) and I have determined that I got this hat in 2007.

I use to have a cap that had the Budweiser logo stamped all over it.  Unfortunately, it met an untimely death in the washing machine.

No need for sunscreen with the bad boy on your noggin!

However, looks like sidearm casting is a must.

I used to wear a blaze orange Bass Pro hat because it was the lucky hat. I caught my PB Largemouth AND Smallmouth while wearing it, and my dad borrowed it one of the days I wasn't hunting during gun season and he shot his biggest buck with it on. I may have caught my PB Walleye with it on too, but I'd have to go back and reference pics to see for sure. Needless to say that hat isn't really blaze orange anymore. It's a light washed out orange and I don't really wear it anymore, although I do keep it around just in case I get down on my luck.  

 

 

After going back and checking out the pics, my PB Walleye DID come while wearing that hat also.

Couple of them. Blue bandanna that I've had for 13 years now. My green Tilly. My urban camo and woodland camo boonie hats. Buff rag when winter fishing. All of them are equally lucky.

my favorite fishing hat is a solid black hat made by panther with lights in it, caught some nice fish while wearing that hat and night fishing....

My favorite hat sunk to the bottom of a lake during a ride down the lake in a big wind!!  It's very hard to find cool hats in a size eight but I do have two camo underarmour hats that fit awesome.  I have lots of hats that I've recieved but only these two fit...so they be my favorites.

Been wearing this hat since I was 12 took this back when I was 12 I love it and everyone makes fun caught my PB striper, my first duck, and many other things with it.

I did, now it is at the bottom of Sardis lake. Still haven't found a replacement.

You two are not alone. You think its hard finding hats that size. Try finding a racing helmet to fit.

Count me in the cannonball head club, another size 8. I always knew I had a big head but when I started playing football in 6th grade and they had to go to the high school to find me a helmet, which was an old school kickers helmet with the single bar, that pretty much confirmed it
