What a shame. I was at my local DSG and to say I was disappointed would be an understatement. They had nothing on sale.  Everyone has been talking for weeks now how good the deals are there and at Walmart and they both failed me. BIG TIME!

I went to both of them as well yesterday. Wal-Mart had nothing on sale. And DSG didn't have anything on sale either - I found a couple of Chatterbaits that were pretty discounted but that was it.

Been very disappointed in the selection of braided lines at DSG lately.  I mainly use PP, sometimes Fins, and what I'm seeing (been to 3 DSG in the last week) is less green lines and not stocking 300 yd spools in the sizes I buy.  I may start buying larger spools on line.  I was at Walmart this morning and they have restocked just about everything, did buy 300 yd spool there, but they don't ever carry 15#.  Some of the lures were attractive, this time of the year I fish deeper divers due to the fast current so I didn't buy any.

You know what got me ticked? They had everything that everyone was saying was on clearance but they only discounted them $.50. Thats not clearance or anywhere near the prices people are claiming to receive. Heres an example. They both had Mustand KVD treble hook. The 6 pack. DSG had them for regual price of $5.69 discounted to $4.97. Walmart had them for for $5.99 regular price and the clearance price was $5. I was so ticked because I was expecting a much cheaper price. I think I heard on here that they were going for $2 at some of their Walmarts.

My DSG had the nice rack of Xcaliber lures on sale... so I bought 3 silent craw squarebills.   They had alot of 20% off items, but alot of it I didn't need.

Best sale this DSG had was 20% strike kine and big bite baits for 99 cents. And the walmart had nothing on sale. But i keep looking hoping to get lucky

I was thinking the exact same thing when I went to DSPG the other day! I bought 2 xcalibur XCS 200s and 2 xcalibur xr75 lipless cranks for 2.99 apiece! I looked online and these baits ranged from 5-7 dollars so I thought if was an amazing deal

i picked up a real craw xcs100 and xr25 lipless today at my local dsg(2.99 each). also picked up some big bite baits 6" creatures(2 packs of 5 for $1.50 each), an eagle claw wacky tool for $3, and a chartreuse/white cavitron buzzbait for like $7.
