How do I put in a quote or a picture that is shown below ever time I comment or make a post?

Thanks

Look under "my profile". You are looking for the "signature" section.

Top right of the screen next to "sign out" is your name.  click on it, A drop down menu will pop p, and it is the top left option.

Click on your username at the top, go to My Settings, go to the left of the screen and you'll see Signature

well something is wrong, I've gone into every category and followed the suggestions but a "signature" option isn't anywhere.

Thanks for the help

There has to be a minimum.   Although I did have a long day, I handed my laptop to my wife and she followed the steps and said, Nope something is up-no can do

I don't think there's a minimum post, but post 3 more times to find out.  It would push you past 10 posts.

Use the "print screen". (Prtscn) button next time instead of cell phone pics

Try to be more helpful next time instead of griping about those trying to be helpful.

  • Super User

Wasn't griping....merely saying prt screen is more efficient. I would be happy to show you if are unsure of how to use screenshots.

  • Super User

Enlighten me, because mine doesn't work. I have tried pressing the fn key with the prt sc key and it still doesn't work.

Besides, I would have to do that, save it to print, save it to pictures, upload to PB and then paste it here. This way I can snap a pic, upload to PB and paste to here.

Hit the fn+prtscn

Open up paint or any image editing software for that matter.

Hit paste or ctrl+v

The entire screen will be there and you can edit/crop/type on it.

Its easier to use these types of images when explaining step by steps because you can create text boxes with dialog.
