    First entry for 2014 in the smallmouth category at 5.50lbs.  PA state record is 8.5lbs. 5.50divided by 8.50 =s .6470588 X100 =s 64.71.

I got one! We had the KC area get together today and I got a good smallmouth, biggest one of the day in fact State record is 6.88, my fish weighed 4.80, 4.80/6.88=.69767X100=69.77 I think? Either way

Time to upgrade. She weighed in at 5.97lbs. State record is 9lb 3oz. Should be a total of 64.98%

Upgrade on my smallie entry and a new PB

5lbs 0 oz (yes really on 2 different scales)

5.0/8.5 = .59 x 100 = 59%  (PA record)

Here's my first entry into the fray ~ hope it's not my last.

5 lb - 3 oz     5.1875 / 8.50 =  .610 x 100 = 61.10 %

Dwight, at least you're chomping at the apple  :Victory:

Against my wife's wishes, I recently performed some home surgery on an ingrown toenail (vertical cuts & yank-out with needle-nose pliers)

The podiatrist told me that even a youngster abused in this fashion would never heal     PICKY - PICKY

In any case, between the infected toe and adverse weather, we haven't much chance to wet a line.

Hopefully that'll change real soon, but in the wake of Speedbead's hippo, my confidence level has been sharply deflated

Somewhere on Lake Erie there's a walleye guy cursing all the monster smallies he keeps hauling in.

I would gladly trade him an 8lb Waldo for the same size smallie. I would even trade him two 10lb sheepshead for one 7 lb smallie.

We're still trying here in Northwestern Missouri but I am not even getting close.  I caught this 6 lb'er today at Smithville Lake.  She was 22 inches long but too slender to carry a lot of weight.  Maybe a month ago she would have been a bit heavier with eggs.  So 6 lb/13.875 lbs x 100 puts me at a pitiful 43.2 percent.  Getting my wife to fill the frame to make the fish look good is something else that I am failing at as well.
