Short Arm or Long Arm Spinnerbaits.

Featured Replies

I am a big spinnerbait thrower, especially during the post spawn when they scatter. Its a great search tool for this reason. I really like a short arm spinnerbait as I like to throw them along the breaks and let them flutter down before I begin my retrieve. I have caught a lot of fish this way. What say you my friends?, long arm or short arm and why? :)

I prefer short arms as well.  easier to get into the thick of things.

I use short arm for my single spins but I use the long arm for tandems.  Personal preference thingy.

Short arms for single colorado blade baits and longer arms for everything else.

If I'm going to throw a single blade then it has to be a short arm, other than that it's all about long arm baits.

Give me a short arm, with a colorado blade for the drop, and a long arm williow blade for fishing through weeds.

Cheers,

I LIKE A LONG ARM WITH DOUBLE COLORADO BLADES

Always the same. Colors and blades change based on water clarity/sky conditions, but a short arm spinnerbait with a red 1/0 trailer hook is always a must. Long arms grab more vegetation then treble hooks.
