Daiwa Steez 100Sha 7.1:1 Baitcaster 2014 . Urgent .

Featured Replies

You alright fellas

Just purchased the reel above Incase someone else bought it as it was $421.73 new and 2014 model as opposed to th uk cheapest price of $684.65 of 2013 model .

Would it be a good pairing on the g loomis nrx jig and worm 852 or 853 jwr I'm planning on getting?

The person I bought it from only had 2 .

If I have just bought 1 that means there is one more left so is it worth me buying the other one if he's still got it in the morning?

Would like to know your views in the next 8 hours so I can cancel the purchase If I want to aye?

Look forward to hearing your views .

Cheers aye

853 is a solid rod

I would definitely purchase the second one. The price is cheaper than a Zillion Type R.

The Steez is an amazing worm and jig reel...go for it.

Steez goes well with just about anything, very nice reel. Of the two NRX's you have listed, I would go with the 853, very good rod for lighter jigs and plastics.

The JDM T3 max would be a good option if you want another t-wing reel. The Steez is not modifiable in that way to my knowledge.

If you are really looking for some enthusiast advice, I would suggest you check out another site with a forum. I'm not sure if I can say the name. There are some guys there that have some awesome set ups. I am not sure if any of them actually fish, but they could sure tell you the best way to blow a few grand.

If catching fish is a priority, then this is a really good site for actually learning about fishing.
