Bionic Vs Pro Qualifier??

Featured Replies

I love my pro qualifiers, have 5 of them.

havent used a pro qualifier but im positive they are great reels. i have 2 bionics that are working quite nicely so far. one for cranking, one for jigs and big worms.

Have two pro qualifiers, great durable reels.

They are both on sale, twenty dollar difference. Just don't know how much difference there is in the reels.

The Pro Qualifier is definitely worth the additional $20.... One of my favorite reels; even like it more than my Revo STX

The PQ hands down.

They are both on sale, twenty dollar difference. Just don't know how much difference there is in the reels.

The PQ has a reel handle side aluminum side plate and breaking systems are different.  Both braking systems are essentially dual breaking with the difference being that Bionic uses a new, weird system that applies brake tension to a tapered drum controlled by the dial where as the PQ uses a magnetic brake controlled by the dial.

The PQ is the safe bet, but is also really boring.  The Bionic is the unknown but the braking system is really neat.

Go with the pro qualifier. I have no experience with the bionic, but my PQ is my favorite reel. Very solid.

PQ for the win. I beat mine and i love how well it handles the abuse. I've had 30lb carp on it and it was able to handle the stress.

Arrrgghh, PQ is on back order for ratio I want.

They will have it back soon. Which one are you looking for? And do you have any BPS near you?

Worth the wait, especially on sale. The PQ is such a proven performer and on sale so regularly I can't see messing with any other house brands.
