Jj's Magic Fingers?!

Featured Replies

Spilled a little JJ's, and now I've got Mythelate colored hands!  The bass may like the smell (worked well on my fluke tonight), but I can't stand it!

Any tips?  Tons of soap and water and a healthy dosing of vinegar have yet to cut the color or the odor.

At least I don't have to worry about vampires tonight...

Toothpaste is what I use to get rid of bad smells on my hands. Might not make it go away completely but it does cover it up pretty well.

Lighter fluid.

Serious

Gasoline.

I actually use shampoo to remove smells from my hands. Not sure why, but when I am done cleaning a mess of catfish, its the only thing that removes the scents of both the fish and the stinkbait. Use a handful and wash as if it were any other liquid soap

Maybe I've been spilling and soaking in it for too long....but I LIKE that smell.  It is in my car...in my closet...in one of my gear bags....doesn't bother me at all anymore

Lemon Juice has worked for me. Just make sure you dont have any line cuts!

I swear its so weird. I read a thread about scratching cuardos and I scratch my tatula, I read a thread about spilling JJs and I spill JJs, maybe I should read more threads about catching big fish....

Get some orange hand cleaner from the auto store or walmart

For oily residues , mineral oil , wd40 etc.

Vinegar.  But you'll have to get rid of that smell next.

Is this the first time you've had to wash off "stink finger" :)
