New Fishing Partner

Featured Replies

Got myself a new fishing buddy. She is a blue tick coonhound. We named her Cara. Here is to many happy fishing trips. Who else has a fur fishing partner?

Awesome dog. My Border Collie mix has gone out on the boat with me once, and she will be going a lot more this year. She isn't too fond of pickerel lol.

So pretty! Had a blue tick mix, koko, honestly, best dog I've ever had! Have a 7mo. Old puppy now, maple moon! Phenomenal puppy, smarter than any dog I've ever had, smarter than my wife and I, dangerously so!!!

I have a 150 pound Bull-mastiff as my fishing partner. In the mornings if I go to hook the boat up, he goes nuts. He expects to go.

Great looking hound, I'm sure she'll want to be on every trip with you from now on. Every time you start getting your gear out, she'll know it's time to go have fun!

Cute pup.

My son didn't want to go last time so I took my 90 boxer just to level out the boat. Lol

He loved it till to sun got up high then he got hot. And we had to go. But we both loved it. Think il take him again this weekend since it's gonna be in the cool side. And I no a shady bank I can go to when it gets hot.

Watch your dogs that are used to a/c they get hot easy in the sun.

With an Aviator like yours, I'd fish with you.  when your new partner cant make it. Boomer Sooner.

Mine has been going with me since she wasn't much more than a ball of fluff.

Mine 5 years old boxer has been going with me since I bought my boat. I believe that he brings me a luck in my fishing trips.

No way! Prison orange make me queasy... I'm gonna do my best to make the game next year in Knoxville since I'm just a short drive away here in Dayton

Awesome! I have been bringing my dog for 12 years. Loading her up now is like making sure the plug is in the boat, just comes natural after so long. When it gets hot I bring her back to the camp but sometimes find myself still talking to her when she is not even there.. Lol. Other boaters probably think I'm crazy.
