Lost Lures

Have you guys ever lost a one of kind lure or one you wish you could get back that is no longer available?

For me it was a Budweiser Beer Can Lure from Heddon.  This was before the Big Bud.  It was given to me by one of my fathers friends that won it in a tournament.  Basically it was a mini beer can with a hook on it.  He also gave me a Red Devil that had Pabst Blue Ribbon on it.  I never caught a fish with it and it too ended up lost.

I've seen them in little small town stores but I never thought you could actually use them

Rapala's Shallow Fat Rap

I probably have 150 jigs but there is one that has always been a special big bass buster for me. I dug it out of my dad box as a teenager and have dove for it on more than one occasion! It's been resharpened dozens of times and I have looked at every jig on the market and still don't know the maker of the old jig. It's been hung up under docks, in brush piles, tree tops and wedged between rocks but I've always managed to get it back! Maybe one day I'll lose it forever but I'll never forget some of the fish it's hooked.

I used to have a kitchen sink lure.  and it worked!  got it hung up in brush pile and spent an hour with a lure retrieval , but never got it back.  dove down to the pile, but wasnt enough light to see it.

That Suzuki Marine topwater. It was red and white. If your ever on Hartwell and find it, please contact me!
