How often should you grease your reels? Is everyday after hard use (5+ hours on that reel only) good or what do you guys do?

1-2 times a year

I clean my reels once a year. If I open them up and grease is blacken then I remove the old grease and reapply new grease, if not then close them back up.

I tear mine down every winter and do a complete cleaning. About 3-4 times a year I'll flush/oil the spool bearings.

Annual is a good starting point for a deep cleaning schedule. More or less often as use, conditions and symptoms dictate.

I give the easy to access spots some lube/grease about every 2 months. I give everything a deep clean about once a year.
