I started a thread earlier but I'm going to break this down specifically.

 

I am looking to get a medium heavy rod for frogging and other things related to that rod and am trying to spend...60.00 or under.

 

I see the Lightning Rod's by Berkley are apparently good but I want some reviews of what ya'll think.

The lightning rod is probably pretty tough to beat in that price range.

One uses a casting reel (trigger) and the other uses a spinning reel. 

The Powell Diesel series has a mh spinning rod in your budget also. It's a pretty stout rod and not bad for the money.

Might check Wal Mart, I picked up a MH/F Vendetta for $30 awhile back. Also DSG's around here has Veritas for $49, that's a tough rod to beat at that price range.

WalMart has Vendetta rods for sale for $30.  Just picked up a 7' Medium yesterday.

I'm looking online and they're all for 70!
