I was on a much smaller budget this year but I was determined to get a combo for throwing 10XDs. I picked up an Abu Orra winch and a 13 7'11 Crankinstein rod for$230 and saved big. Now I'm ready to roll and have a rod that matches my username!

Well better to have it and not need it, then to need it and not have it I geuss lol I was watching a video and Aaron martens says he likes to use 1/8th more than any other size....

i drop shot almost exclusively. a little bit heavier weight will give the bait more action because you can quickly go from a slack line to a taught line without the weight moving. I like heavier weights, its all personal preference as long as you have bottom contact.

I went fishing 

Have bought nothing.  This has been a bad 2 week stretch, lost quite a few jerkbaits, I may stop and pick up a few today.

 

I did stop and pickup a few but didn't take them out of the package.  A few years ago I found husky jerk on the beach with a sardine pattern, never used so I gave it shot yesterday.  Bass like sardines too............lol

Not much. Wasn't a very jovial day around here. But I had some cash in my paypal acct., and made a $50 TW order while they had there 20% off deal to stock up on some of my most used plastics, and some boss jig making stuff.

I decided I wanted to try swim baits more next year, so I ordered a LTB 7'10" swimbait rod, a Calcutta 301D, and a few swim baits. I was also disappointed that lucky craft, roman made and mega bass were excluded from the sale. Now I need to figure out what line to use on this rig.

Well some things came in the mail but it has nothing do with "I think i'm getting a good deal Friday" this might not apply to places like TW but for physical stores the 1st is the cheapest prices.

My cousin doesn't have a computer but I helped him use mine, he said he wants to start building his own tackle collection instead of always using other peoples. So I sat with him and helped him pick all this out, all for only 100$! Should get him started nicely!
 

I hope to pick up a GoPro 4 Silver this weekend so I can record some bass underwater at the strip pits I kayak fish at. I have other video cameras but none that go underwater. So I'm looking forward to playing around with the GoPro if I get it. Although I will feel rather uneasy sticking a $400 video camera under water. lol.

 Yeah, those Sony definitely produce good footage but I went with the Gopo 4 Silver because of the waterproof case and all the accessories available.

I had to keep it minimal. It is the Holidays after all. I've been wanting to get some Duo Realis lipless cranks. I ordered 10 of them from Tw for 100 bucks. Very excited for these!

On Black Friday I went fishing, but as part of the Black Friday sale on Tackle warehouse, I bought a bunch of stuff to create a tie my own jigs.  I also bought a ton of skirts and what not from fishingskirts.com.
