Hello to forum members. I live in Alabama and fish mostly the Coosa River chain of Lakes and the Cahaba River. I've fished Lay lake since I was able to walk and my most fond memories growing up envoled a rod and reel. I have been a full time Firefighter/Paramedic for the last 11years. I have three young sons who love to fish and a wife who wishes they didn't hahaha... My sons and I also race dirtbikes hare scrambles&enduro mostly. People always say I'm a jack of all trades but one of my passions is making Handmade Balsa Crankbaits. Here are some pics of my boys and my crankbaits.

    Welcome to the forum! I'm from AL as well. I mostly fish Weiss and Neely Henry. I think you will find a lot of useful information on this forum.

    Those are some beauties of cranks, man, they look great! Always an art I've been wanting to learn.

     

     

     

     

    Hair scrambles are the best.. I did it when I was growing up, but got out of it (too many injuries over the years to inhibit my fishin' :) )
