Good stuff. Those new Revolution Reels look cool, and I can't believe all the Berkley bags will go for 1.29, that's a crazy good deal!

Remember it's a rebate, but still awesome.

Berkley has gotten me rebates promptly in the past. I'd expect no different this time.

I have had the opposite experience with Berkley rebates. I didn't get mine from last year's Classic until September! The biggest problem is I throw pit bosses like crazy.

Looks like a couple Stradics on the menu for me

It sucks that the pro qualifier reel sale is in store only. I'm sure my local bass pro won't have many in stock.

I'm hoping to pick up a PQ or two during this sale. Didn't see the fine print where it was in-store only though. Oh well I'll drive there on the first day and hope for the best.

The reel trade in works for all brands, not just BPS.

I'm not familiar with the reel trade in. What's that entail?

I'd love to get another new carbonlite reel. ..

Bring an old or unused reel to BPS, they give you a coupon.  Their is a pricing tier on the flyer.  For the reel you're looking for you'd get 15 dollars off the sale price of the carbonlite reel.  So it would 84.99

Last year there were no exclusions on the reel coupon.

Is their reel trade in program good for all purchases or just on the BPS reels? (I know PQ is excluded).

Usually it's good for everything but Shimano as they refuse to participate. Maybe that's finally changed now finally, but I know that's the way it was.

Shimano has participated for the last three years.

I'll be down there hopefully early Friday. Will be picking up at least one PQ and then using the reel trade in to pick up an Abu reel. Not sure which one, leaning towards a Revo SX.

Glad they finally decided to consider the future of the sport.

Same here. Good deals on some lures and line I need to pick up.

Is the reel and rod trade the same days this year instead of separate weeks as in the past then?
