Anyone know of a source for really small (soft bait) Craws ?

 

Perhaps under 3 inch size.

 

How would one best rig Craws this small ?

Well, Netbait makes a tiny paca craw. You could try a 3" chigger craw or even a chiggar chunk. Missle baits has a drop craw which is 2.75", or thereabouts.

I'd rig it on a jighead, or shakey head. Perhaps on a slit shot rig with a #1 gammy offset pen hook. You're basically talking about super light tactics.

Baby Rage Craw, Small Size Craw Papis, Netbait Tiny Paca... Numerous options. They can make great finesse casting jig trailers, I really like to fish the smallest size Papis on the back of a Bitsy Bug in creeks during the summer.

Missle drop craw.  I just picked up a bag ..look like they'll catch well dropshot just looking at them ..3" and slender, could pinch off and make even smaller for panfish, trout . .... 2"& 3" twin tail grubs good craw imitation too ..done well with them on bass fished slow just after ice disappears.  fish on dropshot or small jighead

Lucky Strike used to make some mini-sized Guido Bugs.  I've got some.  I don't know where I acquired them.  The craw trailer that Jewel Baits makes for the Eakins jig is pretty small.

Berkley havoc slop craw, just cut off the last 1/2 inch or more. I use them and they are awesome, small profile, small claws.

Baby Rage Craws or YUM Craw Papis, both killer smallmouth baits on a shakyhead.
