I may never pour plastic again

A friend of mine has quit bass fishing and brought me some stuff yesterday:  50 pks of Yamamoto grubs single, double, hula, and bags of twin Ts, at least 500 tubes in many sizes and colors along with a couple of hundred of the jigs like he used to tie for Stacey.

All this is going to put my molds up for a while. :D

You will still do it because you like it trust me! I have at least 300 spinnerbaits but I keep making more. Now I am waiting on custom spinnerbait mold # 3 and 4 to arrive.

Maybe so Maybe not. I have been making baits longer than most of you guys have been alive. I have WAAAY more than the law allows. I had to give away 10 dz of my jigs to make room for some of his.  It's just that new gallon of plastisol going to waste. :D;)

Jig Man interested in selling or renting the molds out?  If  so list what you have.

My plastics molds are all home made.  I make them from Bondo.  I don't want to get rid of any of them as of right now.

Jig Man thats good stuff. Munkin where and how do you get custom molds.

One way is to buy a blank mold from Do-It and have a machinist make what you want. It can be very pricey though.

shawncollinscustoms.com is where I bought the first two and they are hand pour. I wanted more detail in the head so the next two I am getting from tight line which will be spincast molds. You can make your own molds out of bondo, plaster of paris, silicone, RTV, etc. Right now I am making crankbaits out of Aluminite Resin and microballoons in a silicone mold.

I'll be glad to give you a hand clearing the clutter.

Send me the GYCBs only and continue pouring your own.

Or more seriously, LBH has his kid's C.A.S.T. program that can always use more stuff. If you are interested in giving some of the plastics away, they would be an excellent choice.

If you are interested in selling it hit me up.  I haven't poured in over a year because I have been too lazy to buy more plastic.  But I don't know what it would cost to ship it out to Southern California.
