Interesting Psychology/vision Experiment

Featured Replies

This picture has been sweeping the social media world and I thought it would be an interesting post here. Some people see this as white and gold, and some see it as blue and black. Just write what colors you see and wait for the other responses before you call me crazy.

Black and blue. Now for the real question would you wear that shirt for 20 bucks? I would and when people said "I like your black and blue shirt".  I would say "It's gold and white".

I see a woman's dress whitish blue with skin brown accents

I see gold and white, but my wife sees blue and brown.  My daughter sees blue and grey.  Very strange.

I personally believe it's a black/blue with blue tip senko.

This occurs because some of our brains are confused by the original image’s washed-out, overexposed lighting. Our visual systems intuitively know to filter out normal backgrounds and lighting in order to see the “true” color of an object but the bluish tint to the photo is throwing off that ability for many people, thus they see gold and white.

The actual dress is black/brownish and blue.

Personally, I have seen both colors just as many others have, it is crazy but its just the brain just trying to create a definite, accurate image.

So you catch a fish on this; what color trap do you say you caught it on?

I can't see any black and blue. I've tried everything to try to make it change.
