I would agree with that....looks like it was put on roids.

That's a big bait.  If it has the action of the S Crank it will be a bull in a china shop.

I'd like one of those Sunshine Gill or Ito Mint. I was expecting a higher price tag on them too. I have no idea what setup I'd throw that on. Swimbait rod I suppose.

That's an awesome looking bait. That 8oz thing has got me really interested though. As mentioned above that thing has to be really wide to be that heavy, if I had to guess I'd say 2oz would match the size a lot better. If its not a typo the only other explanation is that it has to be very dense, almost solid as well as having some serious weights in it. I'm very interested in seeing this thing in person either way. The type of deflections this thing could create would be huge and very unique.

My suspicions may be true. Check out the megabass YouTube channel and the video titled "megabass movie 239 Grenade" and sure enough they have it listed as 2oz. This is good news for me because now I don't have to buy a swimbait rod to throw this beast. I have a *** 7'11 crankinstein rod that I throw 10XDs on waiting to launch the grenade this spring.

It says 1.5/8oz

Says 1.1/2oz in the video

The site lists it as 1. 5/8oz. So just barely over 1.5oz. Looks like big cranks are becoming more and more popular. The KVD 8.0, the giant Lucky Craft ones. Nice to see the higher end baits are making them available too.

Not sure why the link on the original post did not work however we are looking at a 3.74" bait weighing in at 1-5/8oz......I will post more once I get them in my hands....

Where did you order? Rakuten? Do you pay any duties or fees on that stuff ever?

There was a seller on fleabay with some in stock but they sold out very quickly. I was able to get the last one they had, I hope I don't snag this thing up! Maico1 what colors did you get? I got GG megabass kinkuro. I'll post a pic when I get mine and try to post some dimensions and size comparisons as well. Spro has a new big crank coming out soon as well, these giant cranks are starting to really catch on.

Interesting how the above came out.....it is flipped and run on.

Cheese and crackers, I thought it said $127.99. I was like no thanks I'll stick with KVD and Strike King.

Then you've gotten lucky.  I've been hit with duty fees on 2 different orders that were shipped EMS.   I think it's luck of the draw.  The fees aren't outrageous but you have to pay the postman when he delivers the items.

What'd you pay in fees if you don't mind me asking?

2,200 yen are kidding?!? You know how much that is? Me either but it sounds like a lot

The last one I got hit with was like $27 for a $390 order.  So it isn't outrageous but it does kind of suck.  The bad part is your order gets held in customs for a week to 3 weeks or so.   I think I've just had bad luck, a lot of people don't ever get hit with a duty.

What depth is this for ?
