Who Makes Quality Finesse Jigs? (1/4 Oz 2/0 Sized Hooks)

Featured Replies

I'm planning to do some river smallmouth fishing. They don't get any bigger than 2 pounds in these parts. Problem is that most of my jigs are a little too big at 4/0 size. I need some smaller jigs preferably 1/4 ounces in a 2/0 hook.

I know the Bitsy Flip and Bitsy Bug jigs meet that criteria but I'm just looking for something with higher quality. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Chompers PB&J casting jig.  If you're looking for really high quality you probably need to find something hand-made.  Or what everybody else will say (for good reason), Seiberts.

In that situation I have used serberts shakey head with a hula grub. You can swim it to good effect as well.

If you get in touch with Mike @ Siebert Outdoors, chances are he can make you exactly what you need.

I'm sure Mike can make you what you're looking for. I made some little 1/8-1/4 ounce jigs with short hooks just for river smallies so I know Siebert's can do it.

If Mike at Siebert Outdoors can't make it for you, I have a head that I've been making for guys that want a jig similar to a bitsy flip that I pour in 3/16oz and 1/4oz. Siebert Outdoors can probably hook you up with the exact color and jig you need.

Check out Bass Patrol football jigs. 1/4 and 3/8 best bang 4 your buck.

Skinny Bear jigs, living rubber hand tied.

The Pro & Finesse series uses a 2/0 premium hook in the 3/16 & 1/4 oz sizes.

TW sells them.
