Simply a work of art but I'm just not sure I'm ready to drop $990.00 on one just yet. I mean I just started buying my Orochi xx rod's. It may take some time for me to work up to this one.

 

   Life has way to many choices in it.

I think the Evoluzion C40 is going to be my limit, if I even get there. I'm very happy with the Orochi XX rods so far.

Waiting for it to hit $700ish at JP then I'll think about it. I have some X4 and X7 I bought this winter and I'm already feeling in the dog house from my spending spree.

I have the Diablo C40.  It is a thing of beauty. 

I just bought the Orochi EMTF and the Tour Versatile. I'm having a hard time trying to decide between the spinnerbait special and the flatside special as my next purchase though. Megabass is simply fantastic and I wish I would have bought some much sooner than I did.

I have 2 of the original Mephistos with the slant bridge. At 6'9" it is my go to for peacocks in Brazil. This one at 7'2" is a little long.

I picked up the C40 Elseil over the winter. Plan on using it for swim jigs once our season opens next month...it feels sublime in hand.

Perhaps after I win a lottery somewhere.

Even if I could afford to fish such a nice rod, I think I'd hang it on the wall.  Almost a grand, I don't think I could fish with it incase it got scratched. But it is a nice looking rod.

Aren't the high end Megabass Rods Made in Japan? It would break my heart (and tick me off) if I bought that beauty and then found out that it was made by the Chicomms!
