Hey yell well my friend and I went out fishing today and had a blast trying out my boat but the people at the ramp saw that I have a lot of tattoos and my arms and so on and they said to me I didn't know people with tattoos like to fish I was like really now like what's having tattoos haft to do with fishing. Then the guy standing in his boat said to me you look sicking with all them tattoos and should not be alound to fish so I trued around and then said thanks. Like I just don't get how having tattoos makes me a bad person or anything like that all my tattoos have a Meaning behind them . I just don't know I work hard to take care of my family and I never knew bass fisher man couldn't have tattoos like them people really got to me I told my friend this makes me wanna quit fishing.....

Yep. I was fishing with a friend and my little brother in my friends boat a couple weeks ago. We were catching fish off a point and having a good day. This older guy and his friend and girlfriend/wife "eased" up and started fishing near us. Usually that's something I don't have a problem with (although its a little irritating). Anyways he happened to cross lines with my brother and got all mad about it and started cursing and saying a lot of words a 13 y.o. kid shouldn't hear. He yelled at us and asked my brother if he was retarded and if we were stupid and to get off his spot. Pretty ridiculous since we were there first. His behavior was completely uncalled for. We decided to just leave and forget it. You never know what could happen with a guy like that. There's a lot of good people in the world and a lot of bad people, this guy happened to be bad. You have to forget about it and continue fishing, there's always going to be jerks no matter what you're doing.

In all reality,  ive been criticized for doing the weirdest things that catch fish, for instance, burning a jigging spoon  with braided line on a high speed reel through shallows. As this guy is laughing at me, i pulled in an 8lber, 10 minutes later a 6lber. meanwhile hes catching nothing then up and leaves.

Then theres all the weird looks i get for listening to rock, metal, and rap while fishing in a hoodie on a warm day.

Truth is though, fishing is only a spectator sport if youre pro, and even then to the fisherman it shouldnt be. Fish for you, not for them.

Yeah your right a lot of people can out fish me I just got into bass fishing last year but that's fine with me I'm having fun fishing. And yeah it didn't make me mad I just upset me that people in this day of age do stuff like that anymore. I felt like I was back in middle/high school again lol

Can I fish with you Suggestion guys, anytime you are hassled in a boat or at a ramp ignore the guy, then get on your cell phone and call 911 or call a park ranger. I keep both phone numbers in my cell phone. There are a lot of nuts out there. I once had a young guy drive up to me on an ATV as I was fastening down my boat to the trailer. He got off and came up to me, said he wanted my opinion, pulled out a big knife and showed me the engraving on it. He wanted to know if I liked it. I said it looked good, I started walking around to the other side of the boat and began dialing 911. He left.

Some people are just ignorant jerks.
