Hello From West Tn

Featured Replies

Hello everyone!

I recently moved to West TN from Central IL and with it came a change in species of fish pursued. I had spent most of my pre-teen and teenage years fishing for crappie and catfish from the bank. When we were off from school for the summer we would fish 4 or 5 days a week. Occasionally, my friends and I would go bass fishing but it never really was a big deal to us.

After college I moved to Jackson, TN for work and bought a 17ft Lowe to fish some of the local waters. I still didn't bother much with bass fishing until one of my high school buddies suggested it. He had done well in the collegiate tours and fell hook, line and sinker for it. It didn't take long and I was hooked as well. I've been dedicating a vast majority of my time on the water to learning different techniques and a vast majority of my time off the water has been dedicated to reading the articles and forums on BR and across the Internet. Currently I am working on becoming competent with a jig after reading the awesome forum here.

I look forward to interacting with you all on the forums!

Good luck and be safe,

EK

I fish lake graham often. It's only 20 minutes from my house. Makes it easy to do after work!

Welcome to BR!
