Favorite Lure

Featured Replies

Wha ever the fish like to eat! I try to stick with realistic looking baits, especialy if its swimmers!

My faves are determined by the body of water I'm fishing, but Senkos seem to catch fish in every lake or pond I've thrown them in. So I bring a couple packs with me every trip.

My favorite is the triple trout.

chatterbait

buzzbait

shaky head with bush hog

What ever they will hit. My preference is cranks or spinnerbaits, but ill throw a cow patty on a hook if thats what they are wanting at the time.

1.) Norman Deep lil N

2.) KVD Sexy Frog - Black

A bluegill colored crank bait, grinding it's way across a gravel bar.  "nothing to see hear folks...just a defenseless bluegill disrespecting your area..."

Hilarious! Nice post.

Outside of the category plastics, it would be jigs by a mile.

If I could only have one lure, it would be a soft plastic lure. A worm, lizard, creature, etc. However, as far as just plain flat-out fun fishing favorite, it's a toss up between feeling that thud on a jig or that blow up on a top water.

Fluke weightless

A spinnerbait gets my vote.

I've got a tie: Chatterbait (Blue/Black pattern) and a 7" Culprit worm Texas-rigged.

Overall it has to be a jig. What is the most fun or enjoyable to fish is a glide bait. A bait has to be fun and enjoyable to fish to be a favorite not just catch lots of fish. A senko is a perfect example. They are boring to fish I will go without catching fish so I can enjoy myself.

Jig and soft plastics.

Got to be a jig pitched into heavy brush when I see that line move it gets me going better than a top water blow up
