I am from Norfolk NY and have been fishing as long as I can remember. I have been on this site for a few years but never created an account. It has been a wealth of knowledge for me. I enjoy bass, walleye, pike and musky fishing. I mostly fish on the St. Lawrence River but will be fishing bass tournaments all over NY. I just purchased a new boat. It is a 2015 Nitro ZV 18 with a 200hp optimax. It is a great boat that suits my multi-species fishing and should serve me well in tournaments. Unfortunately after 10 days of ownership it got stolen. It was recovered 3 hours later with over 10k in damage. I should have it back within a few weeks and my insurance company assures me that it will be as good or better than new. We will see. I can't wait to get it back on the water! Tight lines everyone!!

When you said Above Albany, NY I was suspecting maybe Clifton Park, Saratoga Springs or maybe a stretch with Lake George ... Norfolk is way, way up above Albany

 

Welcome!  By the way I am fishing the NY State tournament on the St Lawrence River in a few weeks if you are too then maybe we can meet up.  I'm a huge fan of that body of water.

Are you fishing the BFL in two weeks or the b.a.s.s federated in July? I wanted to fish the BFL next weekend but my new boat was stolen and recovered but won't be ready until around July 4th weekend or just after. I was supposed to fish Chautauqua Lakes in the B.A.S.S federated this weekend but won't make it.

I will most certainly be there.  Already have a campsite booked nearby, my fees paid for.  All I need is my Canadian license.  I will look out for you then.
