Greetings !

 

My name is James Brown and I've been on here since last year but am just getting to an introduction! I am originally from Atlanta, Ga and now I reside in south Atlanta near Fairburn/Fayetteville area. Im in retail sales and married with 2 kids.

 

I grew up fishing in small ponds with my dad for whatever would bite a walmart zebco or bamboo fishing pole with a live worm on it and bobber on it. About 10 years ago in college, I always  would take a couple of days out the month to throw a Carolina rig and night crawler on it and in the summer I would go a couple times a week. In 2013, I discovered bass fishing! I was playing flag football and tore and ACL and my meniscus.  I went from being active every day to not being able to do much until the surgery and after my ACL reconstruction and meniscus repair. On youtube, I watched a video of KVD in the water tank throw a crank bait and the fish followed it and I knew I had to try a bait that wasnt alive. I had a new friend from Fantasy Football invite me to catch shoal bass and I was hooked ever since throwing any type of crank bait.

 

I am definitely still a novice at this but I wanted to really thank you guys for all the forum topics, articles and suggestions. Ive really come a long way from just reading a little everyday. Ive gotten into baitcasting gear, owning my own jon boat to get off the bank when I get a free day and even getting bit by the bait monkey every here and there.
