Hi everyone.

Started to get into Bass fishing big time this year fishing mostly on long point bay, lake erie as its fairly close to home.

Started out the year trolling small cranks for smallies, then learning about senkos and other plastics.  Drop shot, wacky, shaky head, texas rig,... you name it I've tryed it.  I practiced pitchin and flipplin for largies a fair amount as well although I've only tied into one real decent LM and that was on a spinnerbait.

Coming from mostly walleye and pike fishing, I'm finding this really exciting and I'm excited to learn and practice more.  It seems like a great part of the angling sport!

As there's still about a month of fishing left in my area, I want to target big pig largies so if anyone has any tips. please let me know!

Cheers!

Patrick.

Welcome to the site. Glad you've finally come around to the light .;) You can most likely apply a lot of what you know to bass fishing, and vice-versa.

Filling out your profile information might help other members to help you (in particular the region/lake/rivers you fish.)
