I wish all places online that sell fishing gear took Pay Pay It's easier to have my wife next to me at night and not know that I'm buying anything with pay pal. She always Hawks me out when I get my debit card to put in a number. She eventually finds out because she pays the bills but by that time I don't care. Am I the only one that thinks like this or what? Just saying.

Lol, with all the fancy crafting stuff my wife has in her own personal nook of the family room, she doesn't have the moral authority to question any of my purchases...we have a truce on that front. 

I know people who have had their PayPal account used by thieves just as many people have their credit card accounts stolen... there is some security to using cash when possible.

Recently, I changed banks.  I updated my PayPal account and gave thm a CC for back up.  Two weeks ago, they tried to draws funds from my old account....twice. So I get two $25 NSF charges from my bank.  I cancelled my PayPal account that day.

I love PayPal but I've had my issues with them too. I've definitely had more good experiences than bad though. I do wish more retailers accepted PayPal. I have used it for TW purchases many times and all have gone well.

They add and remove a few cents to confirm that the account is active, and that you approve of linking.  That's clearly stated when you link your account. They take the action, and you say it happened.  It's a security feature, simple to understand, and not a scam.

Yup. PayPal saves me.

I use paypal and have had some issues in the past but nothing recently.  They are a pain to deal with in regards to fraud though.  

As far as hiding expenses from the wife, she doesn't ask and I don't ask her.  Our bills are paid, we are saving money for a new house adn as long as all taht is taken care of first then i don't care what she spends and she doesn't  care what i spend....

Gmail and google Chrome.  You save credit/debit card info to auto fill into any site

 

I NEVER buy online/or in stores with anything but a credit card.  Only thing debit card is used for is taking cash out of a trusted ATM.   even my monthly auto payments run on credit card
