Hello From Nyc

Featured Replies

Hi guys my name is Ibis, I have been fishing for about eleven years as of 2016; I fish out of NYC and fish all over the tri-state but mostly the reservoir systems.

I've worked at many fishing-related jobs such as partyboats/charter boats. As of right now I work at a tackle shop helping others enjoy fishing. I am also a student at a College in Brooklyn, NY working towards my major in computer science.

At this time im doing 95% bass fishing, I am currently looking for positions to become a non-boater in fishing tournaments come the 2016 season. I am willing to travel anywhere public transportation takes me (although i do have my drivers licenses).

if anyone is looking for a co-angler, feel free to contact me anytime. I would consider myself to be HIGHLY experienced but cant seem to find the opportunity to join

I own much tackle and rod and reel combos. I would say shimano is my favorite america-based brand but i am slowly staring to merge to more Japaneses domestic reels from both Daiwa and Shimano.

As for baits I dont really have a go-to strategy, I like to adapt to what the fish want not what I want to throw, but I do enjoy fishing lipless cranks when the time is right.
