I just would like to see what your experience is with Bass Tackle Depot.

I made two orders in the last 10 days and have not received any information about shipping yet. I have called at least 10 times with no luck and sent at least 3 emails that all did not get answered.

I am just wondering if this is normal or something is fishy here.

When I order with TW, my order is at my door 2 days after I submitted it...

There is talk that they are moving locations or possibly closing down. Neither I have seen confirmed. Keep in mind they are a small shop with just a few people working at any given time. Stocking shelves, helping customers, and filling web orders between a few people is the likely reason for the delay.

Give it another week or 2 to see where things are at...

I'm in the same boat. I've ordered from them before in the past and there notoriously slow because they're a small operation. However it's extremely irritating when they won't answer phone calls or emails this year. I highly doubt it anything fishy is going on and you and I both will most likely get the stuff we ordered but when is beyond me…I got an order confirmation right after I placed the order but I have heard nothing sense and it's been 10 days.

Edit: I just tried to call him after I typed this post out and they answered the phone! They are swamped with orders and my order that was on the fourth is in their "sixth batch quote and it will be most likely shipped tomorrow. No need to worry I guess.

I dont have a problem with a longer order, when I have confirmation that I will get the order. I spent a good amount of money with them and just the fact that nobody reacts to countless calls and emails is a bit disconcerting.

I've heard they are moving warehouses and want to sell everything and I've also heard they are closing their doors. Either way, they are a very, very tiny business that does more business than the 2-3 employee team can handle during their sales. They always run a higher % off than TW as well and they don't replenish their stock quickly or at all on some things. They are always extremely slow /w shipping and order confirmation.

Took TW two weeks to get me my last order. Like 3+ delays. But then again, I don't see "speedy shipping" as being 100 percent in the hands of the retailer either. I only shop their during sales because more than likely I can get better prices and more personal service elsewhere.

Yeah, canceled my order with them today and have a growing TW shopping card going.

TW was always on the spot with my deliveries! And with theri 25days of saving I might get it as 'cheap'

The prices on some of their crankbaits are ridiculously low. They must be cleaning house. If they still have some stuff I like tomorrow I'm tempted to order, regardless of speed or service. I'm not fishing anytime soon anyways

Yeah, that makes a difference.

I am here in the Bay Area and the fishing is still decent! So I want to capitalize on this opportunity with the right gear!

They have always had a reputation of super slow shipping. Then add that this time of year internet shopping is always in full force.

I've ordered stuff from them, but never during the busy holiday shopping times.  So they weren't as fast as TW, but when I wanted certain colors of Kietech's TW was sold out of I had my order within a week.  

Placed 2 orders recently and have received both. Saved a bunch with 40% off and a little patience. I also placed an order with TW for the Black Friday sale and just received it today. We sure live in a instant gratification society anymore, stupid Microwave Ovens. Brian.

I placed an order with them late last week and got it yesterday. I'm in the Denver, Colorado area and they are in Cali. - not right next door but not all the way across the country either. 

stick with TW their shipping is great !! i placed an order on black friday around 4 pm and received the stuff on monday (3 days later !!)
