Hello Everyone. My name is Andrea, I prefer Alyx though. Currently Located in Monterey Bay. Let me tell you a little bit about my fishing "career".

When I was younger I use to go camping a lot and one of my uncles use to fish. As a kid I experienced a strong love towards anything nature related. The older I got the more I wanted to try to fish. I was about 5 or 6 and I got the toy poles. I practiced my cast everyday. When I was 8 my brother took me out fishing. I used a real pole, worms, and boy did I think I was cool. Ever since I caught my first fish I myself was hooked. We would go every weekend out to the ponds and fish for hours. Hours eventually turned into days and days turned into weekends. When I became old enough I went out fishing myself. I would go for hours just sitting there even if I didn't get a nibble I was out there. I didn't care. I just wanted to be near water and just my pole. Nothing else mattered and life was calm. Ever since then I couldn't give it up.  Thats how I started and I joined because we all can use tips lol.
