What's my lure?

Time for another round.... this beautiful minnow has been with me for years and is responsible for some very nice fish.  It dives about six inches, has a dramatic wobble and drives bass wild.  I'm always afraid of losing it because I have no idea what it is.  I'd love to get a couple backups if anyone can tell me what it is

Sorry I dropped this in wrong subforum...if a mod would be so kind as to move it, I'd appreciate it

As a guess, I'd say it's a Bass Pro Shops Xps Floating Minnonw, but the older version.

I agree that it's a BPS house brand, but I think it's their cheaper lineup of the XTS series. Looks like this bait in Gizzard Shad color.

Yep, BPS line of XTS lures.  The cheapest bait I own is an XTS crank and when there is a crankbait bite going I'll throw it. The results are kind of weird but it either doesn't get bit or it draws large fish, there is something with the action of that crank that makes big fish hit it, I just wish I kenw what it was as it held true for just about every pattern I tried.

That is the discontinued Lew's minnow. The XTS is almost identical, but I like the older one better.

Thanks, all.  I forgot to mention that it is extremely buoyant .  Runs true always.  Hard to find 0-6" floaters out there....doesn't have action I like when I wake it.

Yes it is a bps lure....Xps I think...They also have one similar I like that used to be the Lews Speed minnow...One floats slowly one floats fast, the one you have is on sale right now and is being discod I think...The one for 2.99 is actually really good once you change the hooks. I usually neve have issues with hooks, but because the smaller sizes are designed for light line, they are just super thin and weak...

I change the inexpensive BPS lures that I like, ones like the Egg, with VMC inline in same size only because I am afraid to mess up the action since wake baits and minnow baits are so sensitive to change...

I believe the entire XTS line used to be Lews Speed Cranks and Lews Speed Minnows, the very firt one I saw was a Lews Speed Crank and on the back of the package was a Bass Pro Shops bar code.

Thanks, guys.  I haven't bought from BPS for years, but I'm going to grab a couple more of these.  Pretty impressive action for incredibly little coin.
