Just wanted to drop an intro prior to engaging any posts. Have been fishing nearly 40 years but spent most of the last thirty years chasing trout in the mountains of east TN. For several reasons my wife and I bought a weekend house on Weiss Lake in NE Alabama last summer so I've been relearning the bass thing. After 30 years of tying & fishing small flies lets just say a big Ole jig & pig is well, uh, different. Have been enjoying the heck out of it though.
