i went fishing Monday and it rained the whole time I was in a small creek where the water was no deeper than 3 ft. I target trees with a wacky worm and had one of the best fishing days I've ever had. The water was stained with maybe a foot of visibility. hope this helps some.

I don't know about the rain bringing them shallow, but chances are good that they'll be more active/aggressive.  That's a good situation to catch some fish hanging around shallow cover as their strike window will be bigger. Non-finess tactics rule under those conditions, so break out your frogs and spinnerbaits. Wishing you the best.

If it rains much more here, it'll bring them into my backyard.

I went fishing Tuesday.  It sprinkled off and on all morning.  Most of the bigger fish were staying down in a creek bed that runs across the lake.  They were definitely more active.

I don't particularly care to fish in rain but will. I do however find cloudy overcast days far more productive than sunny days.

Some of my best fishing days have come in a steady rain.  Not a blowing, sideways rain, but on a fairly still day.

Rain + Wind = Spinner Bait down the Bank.  If it is just a solid rain I tend to find stumps and pull a spinner bait around/over the stumps
